April Glossybox Unboxing

Hey guys!!  My April Glossybox finally came! YEY!  If you want to check out my Glossybox unboxing vlog post on YouTube click HERE.  Heres it goes...

It came in this box with a sticker on the front with my address on it.  I didn't have to sign for it even though I wasn't home.  I was super excited to find it waiting at home for me! :D

This is what it looks like when you open the outer box.  I love that it is so protected and doesn't get dirty or damaged on route.

The pink box is so pretty.  It has a high glossy shine and very useful for storage afterwards.

When you open the box this is what you see.   Every box comes with the monthly Glossy magazine which is full of make-up, hair and fashion hints and tips.

All the products are wrapped up inside with some tissue paper and a pretty Glossybox ribbon.

When I opened it up properly I could see my product card on the top.

This is what tells you what exactly you got and gives you the products retail price.  This months box (April) was called Sweet Treats.

These are the products I got!! :D

Product No. 1:  EMITE MAKE UP,  Lip Brush - L312.  This is a FULL SIZE product and it retails at £17.  It's made from synthetic talon hair which makes it allergy free and easy to clean!

It is slanted so this is great for a precise and professional look.  To be honest I personally don't think at the moment I'll get much use out of this brush as I prefer to just apply my lipstick straight on without the fuss of a brush.

Product No. 2:  MONU Spa,  Warming Ginger Massage & Body Oil.  It has a retail price of £25 for the full size, which is 100ml. My little bottle is worth £7.50.  Well theres not much i can say about this product.  It's says it all in the name.  It smells good and has a nice texture on your skin.  Im looking forward to trying this one out.  I do't think I'll get much use out of it though as it's only a 30ml sample size.  On the plus side you can use this in the bath so maybe I'll get a bit more use out of it that way.

Product No 3:  MeMeMe Cosmetics,  Beat the Blues - Pearl Pink.  I received a FULL SIZE bottle and its retail price is £5.50 for 12ml.  I love this!  It's a highlight.  Initially i thought it was going to be nail polish as it looks exactly like it even the applicator is a brush.  It's has a very nice glow / shine and I'm looking forward to using it.

Product No. 4:  SunSense UK,  Daily Face SPF 50+.  I only received a sample size which is 10g so it's retail worth would be approx. £2.80.  The full size is 75g and retails at £20.99.  Well we all need a good sun block no matter how hot you think it is.  This has a slight tint to it as it is for the face, perfect for a summer glow.  Needless to say I'll certainly use this up.

Product No. 5:  He-Shi Professional Tanning,  Face and Body Gel.  I'm really looking forward to trying this out!  I'm definitely on the look out to find a good self tanner.  This retails at £7.95 for 50ml which is TRAVEL SIZE.

So thats everything i received in my April Glossybox.  Glossybox is a beauty subscription box which costs £10 a month.  If you subscribe for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months this can work out cheaper.  I opted for the monthly subscription as you can opt out at anytime and cancel your subscription if you are unhappy with the products or the service.

Overall I'm pleased enough with my Glossybox.  I did think that I would receive some more "WOW" full sized products.  This is only my first one so I'm willing to wait it out and see what next months box will bring.

Have a good week everyone!

Hey Guys!!
I suppose it's been a little bit of a slow week!  I did try to do as many blog posts & vlogs as possible!  i suppose this is just a little catch up post to tie in with my new vlog post on YouTube.

So I haven't been up to much over the weekend.  We went to the Pregnancy and Baby Fair in the City Hall in Cork.  It was good, we got lots of freebies! :D  We bought one thing which was a Clevamama, Splash and Wrap Baby Bath Towel.  Its and apron hooded towel which is very handy so you don't need extra hands!

I went out Saturday night with John to a friends party and myself and A.J. just chilled all day today.

Thats pretty much it!  I hope i get a chance to do more blogging and vlogging this week.  I'll keep you posted.  Have a good week everyone and don't forget to check out my YouTube channel HERE new vlog post to follow!

Momma Monday | Baby Favourites

(Sorry it's late! )

Baby Fav #1
It's a yummy moisturiser, it's 83% organic.  I LOVE this gentle product it has a lavender scent its super calming for after bath and before bed.  The brand is Beginning and it is the Replenishing Body Lotion.  The description on the bottle is that it is "moisturising shea butter and aloe".

Baby Fav #2
Teething rings!!  These are very handy to have, they are water filled and can be cooled in the fridge which is very soothing for babies that want to chew everything!  The ones we have came in a three pack.  I think the brand is Bright Starts or Bright Stars.  we got them in Smyths Toy Stores in Cork.  They weren't expensive and they are definately worth every cent.

Baby Fave #3
Sophie the Giraffe!!  Must have in my eyes.  Our baby absolutely loves her.  She squeaks and is easy to hold because of her long neck plus her 4 legs I believe are supposed to aid later stage teething i.e. molars etc.  She is made of 100% natural rubber and her dyes are also natural.  She has such a nice scent.  I heard that babies become very attached to Sophie and was advised to get one and I can certainly vouch for that, but that is just my experience.

Baby Fave #4
Links!  They are a bit hard to describe but I'll give it a shot.  They're small rings which can be interlinked to have as many as you like together or they can be taken apart to have one for a little hand.  They come in all different colours and I think they're great for sore gums! Our baby gets super excited when hears them coming out of his toy basket.  He loves to shake them!  We got ours at our local Tesco store for about €7 I think.

Baby Fav #5
A soother/dummy chain!  These are a lifesaver!  While our baby had a dummy he had begun to throw it away, so these were very handy when we were out and about.
(Sorry misplaced it for a photo!)

Baby Fav #6
Dribble Bibs!  Excellent idea to buy if you have a world class dribbler in your house!  We certainly do and these are great.  They have a 'V' shape and they gather right up under a babies chin.  They really saved us doing so much laundry and kept our babes chest dry.

Baby Fav #7
A Baby Activity Centre is another must have in my eyes again.  They are so handy especially now while our baby A.J. is 6 months and needs a hell of a lot more attention than before.  They are a little seat which swivels 360 degrees around and there's different toys surrounding the seat.  These are so good so you know baby is safe and happy and you can catch up on a bit of housework etc.

Here is the link for the exact one we have!

Finally!!
Baby Fav #8
Waterwipes!!  These will seriously save your little ones precious bum! As long as we have used them we haven't had a nappy rash issue with our baby.  I seriously recommend these instead of other usual "popular" brands.  They are a little more expensive but worth it in the long run.  They cost €2.99 per pack but you can buy a value pack for €9.99 for 4 packs so you save a little that way.  I almost always see deals on in Boots and other pharmacies or baby stores and they cost €2 per pack or you get 3 for the price of 2.

Just one last pic that might make your day, I have a feeling this will pop up in next months baby favourites!
